Quo Vades America?

America every year spends billions of dollars around the world in order to buy friends and influence her enemies. One problem is those dollars are tax payer's dollars, the spending of which are neither authorized nor consented to.  In fact few tax payers are appraised of this fact. Another fact is the very friends that America feeds in one decade is the enemy she has to spend more dollars fighting in the next. Yugoslavia, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Syria? To name a few.

If the stated justification for spending all these millions of dollars abroad is in order to spread democracy around the world, how about spreading a little democracy here at home? Over the last 5 or so years the big banks, have been mercilessly raping, cheating and stealing from the little fellow, mainly the middle class, the poor and the elderly.  How about a little democracy for them!

Someone said recently, "America is going the way of Sodom and Gomorrah;" some say its going to hell in a basket.  The question is quo vades, America, Where are you  going? Does charity not still begin at home and ends abroad?

Did Romney say, Obama is just trying to hold on to power?  How trite?  Does this not show how shallow  is this man's thinking, indeed the man himself?  Not even the lion would have been so simple as to accuse the unicorn of just trying to hold on to power by holding on to the crown since they were fighting over the same thing for the same reason.  I can only add, in this regard, that while it may be true tat the President is trying to hold on to his power, his rival may properly be accused of seeking power so that he may abuse it like he has done everything else he touches. Frankly, I say openly, I am a truly Christian Conservative.  Accordingly I am diametrically opposed to Democratic policies, especially as they relate to homosexuality, lesbianism, and abortion, and so definitely, not by a long shot, a supporter of President Obama and his party; but  I would rather support the devil I know than the devil I don't.  In my view, choosing between Romney and Obama  is a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea.  As a Christian I know that Mormonism is a counterfeit religion and again in my view, to choose Romney would be the choice of a counterfeit as President.

As I look at the two men

It sets me a thinking,

One’s a red herrin’

And the other a chicken

Neither in any case

Is palatable to me

Both repulsive to my taste

Not even for a fee.

And if I was forced to choose

At the point of a gun

I would turn up my nose

And then, brother, I’d run.

I am a conservative

But with a heart for the poor

Am opposed to the accumulative

Meaning, I want more, on more.

Obama is a Democrat,

Their policies I decry,

Gay marriages and all that

That’s my main reason why.

But Romney is the figure

Of capitalism gone mad

The rich getting richer,

The poor worker? Too bad.

So it’s a choice of the Devil,

Or of the deep blue sea.

And I say on the level

That’s no choice for me.

Abomination - Not A Marriage
The President of the U S, just a few days after telling the world he was evolving an answer to the question, “Where he stood on Gay rights?” has at last come clean and declared to the world, what I long knew about him, namely he is all for same sex marriages. But where was the world when he proclaimed triumphantly, “Today, I sat down with Gays and Lesbians in the Oval Office,” his sole claim to fame thus far.   Let me reemphasize that every person on earth has a right to chose whom to marry. But a marriage is only what GOD says it is; a union between a man and a woman.  Anything else is exactly what the Bible says it is – Abomination Not A Marriage
